Mango Smoothies Recipes
Mango fruit can be the sparkle in any smoothie. You can learn one of my favorite smoothie recipes with mango.
Super Mango Energy Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh or bottled mango juice
½ banana
4 tbsp strawberries, blueberries or raspberries (fresh or frozen)
1vial ginseng
½ cup crushed ice
Directions:
Blend all the ingredients on high until smooth and creamy. Enjoy.
Mind Blasting Mango Smoothie
This recipe is incredibly refreshing for any time of day. Add crushed ice on a hot day.
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh or bottled mango juice
1 frozen banana
1 tsp. honey
7 drops pure oil of peppermint
1 oz wheat grass juice
Directions:
Blend the mango juice, banana and honey together until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass. Stir in the peppermint and wheatgrass into the glass. Enjoy.
Vietnamese Style Mango Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 mango
1 avocado
4 cups crushed ice
¼ cup condensed milk
¼ cup low fat milk
1 tbsp sugar
Directions:
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Enjoy.
Tips:
- To make your own crushed ice, place ice cubes in two freezer bags and smash with a rolling pin or another heavy (and durable) object you may have in your kitchen.
- When fruit is in its peak season, purchase and freeze to make your own frozen fruit.
- Prepare single servings of fruit for your smoothies and store in the freezer in a small freezer bag. When you want to make a smoothie in a hurry all you have to do is grab one from the freezer, add your liquid (ie. Soy milk, water, juice) and blend.
